Ann's Heart Receives $30,000 Grant from The Foxwynd Foundation to Support CERAH and Meal Programs

Phoenixville, PA – August 29, 2024 – Ann's Heart is thrilled to announce that it has received a generous grant of $30,000 from The Foxwynd Foundation to support the Center for Emergency Resources at Ann's Heart (CERAH) and our HEART Kitchen Meal Programs. This funding will be instrumental in enhancing our capacity to provide essential services to the Phoenixville community.

The grant signifies more than just financial support; it represents a meaningful partnership between The Foxwynd Foundation and Ann’s Heart. The Foundation's mission to act as a lifeline for communities in need aligns perfectly with our dedication to offering emergency shelter, basic needs support, housing case management, community meals, and educational programs.

Kristen McGee, Executive Director of Ann's Heart, expressed her gratitude, stating, "We are deeply honored and excited to receive this grant from The Foxwynd Foundation. Their support will significantly enhance our efforts to provide critical services to those in need. This partnership will not only strengthen our existing programs but also enable us to inspire further contributions from our generous donor base through a matching challenge."

Amplifying the Grant's Impact:

Ann's Heart plans to maximize the generosity of The Foxwynd Foundation by launching a matching challenge. This initiative aims to inspire its existing donors to double their contributions, thereby significantly increasing the total funds raised. Ann’s Heart will also specifically target growing its donor base by reaching out to new potential supporters, further expanding their network of committed contributors.

“The Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded the Foxwynd Foundation’s generous donation to Ann's Heart,” said Pamela Villagra, Executive Director, at The Foxwynd Foundation. "We believe that through our partnership, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. We encourage open communication and welcome the stories, feedback, and lessons learned along the way."
