The Center for Emergency Resources at Ann's Heart (CERAH) will reopen on Monday, May 1st for Showers & Laundry. Case Management hours will begin May 8th.

Code Blue Center

The Center for Emergency Resources at Ann's Heart (CERAH), located below Sacred Heart Church in Phoenixville, serves as a hub of critical resources and is open to individuals from the Phoenixville, Mont Clare, East Pikeland, and Schuylkill Township area.

Ann's Heart believes that no one should be without access to basic hygiene services, so we are expanding our programs to meet the need in our community. 

CERAH is open from May to October each year.

Entrance to the Center is located to the right-hand side of the Church. Follow the sidewalk. Two large red doors to the Center are to the left of the walkway facing our Hall Street parking lot.

Who We Serve

CERAH serves men, women, and families from the Phoenixville Borough and immediate surrounding townships.

Services Include

• Free Shower Facilities (toiletries and towels will be provided)
• Free Laundry Facilities (guests limited to one load per day, 2x a week, laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided)
Code Red Daytime Emergency Cooling Center (days 95F and higher)
• Drop-in Mental Health Counseling (provided through our partners at Project Healing Hive)
• Supportive Services
 - Free Community Fridge & Food Bags (provided by our partners at PACS)
 - Little Free Library (provided through our partners at the Phoenixville Public Library)
 - Housing Application Assistance (for those experiencing homelessness or who are on the verge of homelessness)

Needed Donations
Our Center runs solely on donations from our community and grants.

For this reason, we humbly ask for donations of the following supplies so that more of the monetary donations we receive can be utilized towards the operational costs to run the Center. Please consider donating an item from our Wish List, hosting a donation drive, or making a monetary donation.

  • Gift Cards to Dunkin, Wawa, or Similar (Small Amounts)

Donation Drop Off

Donations may be dropped off at the HEART, located at 35 Hall Street in Phoenixville, within the front vestibule.

Please be sure to label all donations with "CERAH". If you would like a donation acknowledgement letter please be sure to include a note with your contact information or email us with a description of your donation.

Please Note: In an effort to ensure that we are not duplicating existing services and are listening to those we serve, we do not accept the following types of donations: used clothing, blankets, sheets, towels, household goods, comfort or blessing bags, or similar items. Thank you!
